Hi there…
A debate has broken out in Bristol regarding the steepest street in the world. I’ve seen your video of you driving up Baldwin Street – wondered if we’d be able to speak to you on the radio please?
Kind regards,
Cheryl

Brisbane ‘takes the journey’ with Paniyiri 2013
The sights, sounds and tastes of Greece will be celebrated this weekend with the annual Paniyiri Festival at Musgrave Park in South Brisbane.
Minister for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and Multicultural Affairs, Glen Elmes, said Paniyiri is Australia’s longest running Greek festival, held annually since 1976, attracting tens of thousands of visitors.
Mr Elmes said the Newman Government was pleased to provide $20,000 to support the festival through the Multicultural Partnerships Program.
“This year, festival visitors will be taken on a journey of discovery as Queensland’s Greek community shares its cultural traditions through food, dance and music,” Mr Elmes said.
“The 2013 festival will also feature a world record Zorba dance attempt.
“Paniyiri is a much-loved celebration showcasing our Greek community that has grown into an important multicultural event for all.
“It has become one of Brisbane’s signature cultural events with Musgrave Park coming alive with the sights, tastes and sounds of Greece.
“For more than 30 years, the festival has actively promoted greater community awareness and understanding as Greek Australians share their cultural traditions with Brisbane.
“It’s our two-day passport to experience Greece - without leaving home.”
Organised by the Greek Orthodox Community of St George Brisbane, Paniyiri 2013 will take place from 12.00 midday-10.00pm on Saturday 18 May and 10.00am-7.00pm on Sunday 19 May at Musgrave Park and the Greek Club, Edmondstone Street, South Brisbane.
